Our Honeymoon

We went to Zihuatenejo, Mexico for our honeymoon! We stayed for 10 amazing days! We were asked what part of Mexico that is in quite a lot, so I decided to post the map.

We had so much fun while we were there. It was so great to just take a break from work, school and life and get to spend much needed quality time together. Most of our days consisted of playing games, napping on the beach and backyard, reading and eating and making yummy food! It was so wonderful to be able to be lazy, have fun and be alone with my husband for 10 days in paradise!
The little store we'd go to

The main road there

The restaurant where we ate our Wahoo Fish! Mmm

Very romantic and the people there were so nice

The restaurant doggy :) loved it!

This was just our backyard no big deal :)

The breakfast I woke up too from my hubby :)

The road going to the city on our "bus"

The bust stop haha

Waiting for our ride

The main part of the city of Zihuatenejo. We only came in once. It took forever to get into the city the way the people travel. I am so blessed to have my own car! (Chris wouldn't let me take a lot of pics of the city he thought his blonde wife would look even more touristy haha... right!)

A taco cart we got the best tacos at!

The main road going to our house. That car is swerving to avoid all the potholes!

This was our "bus" a truck with a tarp over it haha. Chris is just so happy

This big lizard we kept seeing

Hes bigger than he looks

The view of our place from the beach

The gate leading to our place

The view right outside the gate

My guess is its either a whale watching boat or a fishing boat

Chris reading in his favorite spot! I love how high his shorts are haha
One of the houses we would drop a woman off in, on the bus. It looks more like prison than a house :(

Beach Time!

A fisherman we would see ever so often

Posin before heading down to the beach

This bird is about to plummet in the water

There he is!

Hes coming up

Another one diving!

Hes in the water haha the birds did this non stop!

A pretty white bird doing her thing
Our feet sunk lower and lower with each wave

Loving everything around me

Chris dippin his feet in

Finally a dog came and chilled with us. These dogs were pets though so they were more socialized

Cuddling on the beach

Chris got a coconut down for us!
Haha we were so happy!
Chris working hard to open it
He is such a hard worker
Haha he is so good he never gave up. It took him forever but he did it!

Ya coconut milk time!!
Mmm

Side view of the house

More plant life, I love it all

A humongous beetle we found on the beach! Luckily he is dead!

Thats how bit he is. Thats Chirs's 11.5 foot!

We were enthralled for like 20 minutes on finding this read crab at the top of the picture. Then we tried for a picture like 30x haha. I think Chris was the one who finally captured this guy on camera!

We stopped and made this on our long walk on the beach <3 it was a must

The houses along the beach

Part of  a jelly fish.... chris didn't realize I wanted to take a pic of it and immediately threw dirt on it! He felt bad and tried scraping some off with a stick but it didn't work hahaha

No one for miles

That white spec in the distance was our walking goal. I really wanted to know what that building was.

Getting a little closer... we ended up walking like 4 miles to try and reach it

A fish the scary vulture birds were picking at

We thought these were gorgeous birds before we saw them up close. Definitely not an eagle.

These are ugly lookin birds

Tons of birds. That big white one is a pelican. We saw so many pelicans a day (mostly diving in the water non stop) but barely got any pics.

There are a few pelicans!
The first dolphin we saw our of at least 20 for the day!

My favorite day. Chirs and I were freaking out. They were only 30 yards from us.

We definitely looked like tourists running up the beach following all of them

They just kept coming! We also saw a whale in the distance this day but he only came up once and he was huge! We both saw him at the same time.

I loved watching the dolphins play with eachother and spin around in the water

A few times they jumped out of the water but we were unable to take a pic of them

Can you tell how much we loved the dolphins?

I just wanted to run out there and touch one!

I held back though I was good.

I would love to relive this day

Dolphin love

This was one of our closer pics to the white building. No matter how much distance we made it was still very far

Juanita apparently has a machete and it took 2 seconds for her son to cut the top part of the coconut off!

Coconut milk is kinda weird but i'm glad I tried it!
Our bedroom! My husband is so handsome ;)

Kissing outside on our porch

What a stud!
