Some quotes to remind me of how wonderful life is and more importantly how amazing my life is.
“The battle for self-discipline may leave you a bit bruised and battered but always a better person. Self-discipline is a rigorous process at best; too many of us want it to be effortless and painless. Should temporary setbacks afflict us, a very significant part of our struggle for self-discipline is the determination and the courage to try again....Eternal life in the kingdom of our Father is your goal, and self-discipline will surely be required if you are to achieve it.” Thomas S. Monson
-Gosh I don't know what it is lately but I am finding myself less motivated and more negative. It is a constant effort. I cannot forget my end goal and the bigger picture. There is more to this life than myself.
“It is in the home that we form our attitudes, our deeply held beliefs. It is in the home that hope is fostered or destroyed. Our homes are to be more than sanctuaries; they should also be places where God’s Spirit can dwell, where the storm stops at the door, where love reigns and peace dwells.” Thomas S Monson.
-I constantly need to better myself. I have not been doing this. I need to prepare my home now so that when the future is here I will be ready and will not need to change the functioning of my home. I want my home to be a place of sanctuary and a place for the spirit to reside at all times.
“Whatever our calling, regardless of our fears or anxieties, let us pray and then go and do.” Thomas S. Monson.
-How simple is this? How much time does this take? A few minutes. Why is it so challenging? It shouldn't be. Prayer. So simple. So easy. So worth it.
"True love is not so much a matter of romance as it is a matter of anxious concern for the well being of one's companion." Gordon B. Hinkley
-Chris is such a good listener. He picks up on a lot. He constantly asks me if I'm okay when absolutely nothing is wrong. If he ever hears me drop anything he is always worried something has happened to me. Never once has something happened to me after he hears a noise. But for some reason he subconsciously worries for me and my well being. I want to be more like him in this aspect. I want to be like the Hinkleys. They were so cute. I'm sure they both thought this way. Constantly concerned and wanting their companion to be happy.
I found a few of these on pinterest. I'm new at it. Its so amazing. Everything is on there.

There are a thousand thoughts lying within a man that he does not know til he takes up the pen to write ~William Thackeray
So there is this really cool site called ldsjournal.com. You journal and eventually can print out your journal through them and add photos and what not. It would not let me sign up on my laptop for some reason but would on my phone. I signed up on my phone and now it won't let me sign in on my laptop! Soooo frustrated. Does anyone know of another online journal that has the ability to print out your journal in the future??
I cannot write in a journal. Last year I didn't even finish writing about our honeymoon because it turned out to be 6 pages. But how important is documenting your first year?? I want that to look back on. So many amazing, romantic, crazy, busy, frustrating, exciting, loving, new memories I never want to forget! I think it is important to journal. I think parents and adults forget sometimes what is was like being a kid. To look back and remember those moments would make me a better parent I think. I'm kinda already forgetting what child hood was like. You grow up and have a new outlook on life. You forget the little things that meant so much then and mean absolutely nothing now. Man I cannot let myself forget how much it hurt when the guy I crushed on at school liked another girl who in my opinion was prettier, funnier and sluttier. I cannot let myself forget how I felt trying to figure out how I could be more like her. I am sure my girls will feel the same way and I do not want that! FACT: the cute boys normally went after the sluttier girls in school. But guess what? They didn't end up marrying them! There are so many things I want to teach my children. But how can you do that when you forget the things that were so important to you back then?
I love my little sister. She rocks. Shes turning 15 in February... I cannot even believe it. I am only her sister and already feel the need to teach her everything I learned about life, friends and boys. I do not want her to ever make the same mistakes I did. I wish with all my heart she will never have to deal with heart ache or jerk guys or mean girls or peer pressure or hard decisions. I wish I could show her everything I went through and how different I would have felt or been back then if I had made different decisions. I would have done so many things different and avoided so much hurt. Don't get me wrong. "God bless the broken road that lead me straight to you." I probably wouldn't have been the girl Chris needs if I hadn't gone through so much. I probably wouldn't be as strong as I am today without all that hurt. I probably wouldn't be the mother I will one day be without the trials. I probably wouldn't appreciate how amazing my husband truly is without going through what I have. Doesn't mean I can't hope and pray my baby sister doesn't have to deal with it. I love that girl so much. I wish we lived closer. I look up to her so much. I admire all her strengths and characteristics. I see myself in her a lot when I'm with her. I also see a lot of difference. I feel like I'm not there for her as much as I should be and wish I could be. I know she is stronger than I am and I think it is so cool. She has such a sweet spirit about her. People are drawn to her and she is so loving to everyone. Gosh.. what am I going to be like when I'm a Mom? I want to shield Bay from the world. But that is how you learn. That is how you are made stronger. I hope I have set a good enough example for her. She is a good example to me and everyone around her.
I've been watching Friday Night Lights and Tammi Taylor lost it after she had her baby. It stresses me out. I hope I will be a good Mom. I hope I can keep it together. I'm so blessed to have and amazing Mother and Mother-in-law to help me when that time comes! I'm excited to be a Mom. Not for another couple years though. My grandparents and parents are right, they are waaaaay too young to be great-grandparents and grandparents! I get baby hungry ever so often. Chris and I got excited talking about when we'd start having kids. We said we'd maybe try Jan 2014. Then a week later I brought up how that would probably be too soon and he said the same thing. Who knows when I will get into an LPN-RN program. It may not even be until Jan 2014. I hate how slow I have been getting school done. I took so many breaks and have had to work full time almost the entire time. I feel so old sometimes and then Chris talks me through it and I realize how young we both still are. Its funny how we get so excited about stuff. Then we both think for a bit a usually our minds change. Its funny how similar we are about that stuff.
I love this time I have with Chris. Its fun just being together. Its amazing how much we have changed and grown together in this past year. Its funny looking back to our stupid arguments over nothing. I'm glad we no longer have to deal with those little things. He hated how I squeezed the toothpaste in the middle. We crack up about it still. I can't help it. I'm wired to squeeze it in the middle! Another FACT: I collect cups in my room. Its annoying to me and i'm sure so annoying to Chris but he always just jokes about it. Today I had 4 cups on my dresser. Ugh. Use one cup a week Jade! I can't even think of the a little thing Chris does that bothered me. I just remember all of them being so dumb and really weren't a big deal. I love how much we have changed. I feel like we get each other more. We know most of each other quirks, likes, dislikes, what bugs the other person. We've learned how to communicate with each other so much better. I love having my best friend by my side. Poor guy fell asleep early tonight. He worked a graveyard last night and went to bed at 830am and was up at 1130am to go to Lukes 2 year old birthday party. He always puts me first and sometimes I don't know why. I love him. Marriage is about putting the other person first before yourself and man he is so much better at it than me. I want to be better at that. He teases me sometimes about my only child complex. I was spoiled growing up and didn't have to take care of anyone but number one until I was 9. I'm glad he can put up with me. But I feel like i'm getting better. At least I'm frugal right? I don't care about clothes and stuff to make me happy. I mean sure every once in a while its fun to get a new shirt but clothes don't make people happy in the end.
What else has been on my mind? School started back up. I hate school. I just wish I was done. Chris and I have been doing the paleo diet. Hes lost 8 lbs and I have lost 4 lbs since January 12th. Not bad! We have both been exercising more. Eating healthy has made a huge difference. We make green smoothies 3-4x a week too. I feel more energized than I have been in a while.
I started physical therapy for something called thoracic outlet. I have it on both sides of my upper body. You have something called a brachial plexus that originates from your neck and contains all your blood vessels and nerves running down your arm. T.O. pinches the brachial plexus which messes up your nerve impulses down your arm and cuts off blood flow which isn't very good. Long term it could do serious damage. It started when I was 16. I just barely saw someone for it. I thought it was tendonitis from weight lifting and golf. It probably started out that way. Basically my shoulder to my hands hurt constantly. Its continued getting worse and I had had it in November. Daily activities would inflame my arms and I felt exhausted all the time. My sleep has been messed up this past year because of how much pain I've been in. The way I was sleeping seriously hurt me so bad in the morning. Well I went and saw my new PCP whom I love! She referred me to a neurologist because I told her my hands go numb and tingle. I thought that was normal and due to my tendonitis but guess what its not! I should have known that since I am nurse and we freak out when people tell us their extremities have any numbness or tingling. My neurologist diagnosed me with T.O. and referred me out to physical therapy. A few years ago they used to surgically remove a persons first rib to cure T.O. So glad they do not do that anymore!! Its been a week and a half now and I have noticed some changes! Still have numbness and tingling and pain but its slowly getting better. I'm not allowed to sleep on my stomach or side which really sucks. I hate sleeping on my back but it pinches up my nerves and blood vessels when I do that. You may have noticed I hunch my shoulder constantly and have the worst posture. We are working on that. T.O. tightens your chest muscles and pulls your shoulders forward. I have already noticed a difference in my posture because of the stretches I've been doing. I will be so happy if this is fixed this year!! I'm not allowed to weight lift at all. I've been doing more cardio and guess what my body likes it! My body looks so different. I think I just gain muscle really easy. I luckily have not lost my muscle but its just becoming tighter and leaner. Not a look I am used to on myself. My man shoulders are even getting smaller.
I have a patient. He is amazing. I judged him negatively at first and later regretted it. I had never had him before this week. He smokes every few hours. That is the only thing I really knew about him. That and the fact that his leg was amputated below the knee recently. Smokers...I have dealt with so many. As a nurse and as a CNA. Their pain is usually out of control and they are usually ornery at life and hate the world. Not this man. I will never judge anyone like that again. I look up to him. He is slightly over weight but seems otherwise healthy and fit. He was visiting Utah from Cali when his leg started to hurt. He went to the ER to find out he has diabetes and his blood sugars were at 400. Norm is 70-100. A complication to diabetes is gangrene if your diabetes is out of control. He had no idea he even had diabetes. Then they told him they needed to amputate his leg below the knee so it would not cause other complications. He woke up that morning fine and later that day was told he needed an amputation. He was not obese and didn't have any other signs or symptoms of diabetes. He was so positive about the entire experience that after I left the room I went into the bathroom and cried. He felt bad having to bother me with little things. He felt bad asking for pain medication because of the phantom pain he was having in his now amputated knee. He thanked me every time I did anything for him. I don't know how i'd handle a situation he is in. He is out of state and has one friend here. His family in Cali whom cannot visit because of the cost of travel. He said it didn't matter and he'd see them soon. He said he was thankful for his life. I told him that would be hard to deal with alone and that I was here for him if he needed to talk. I told him it must be hard being away from family and friends and warm weather. He laughed and said haven't you noticed how much I love Utahs cold weather? I'm out there every few hours getting "fresh air." We cracked up and then he told me that smoking is bad and to never start haha. Sometimes I forget how great life is. Positivity is key. He doesn't care that he lost his leg. He is just working hard in physical therapy to learn how to function on his own again. Thank you ________ for reminding me to look at the positives.
I just love my dogs so much. They make us so happy. Koda is such a goofball and Kiara is just the sweetest thing alive. I'm so glad we have them. I'm so glad my husband loves dogs as much as I do. I'm so glad they are apart of our little family. I just love them. Everything about them. I am so happy dogs are on this earth!
Sometimes I feel like there is not enough time in the day to go to the gym, cook, clean, get ready, work. I just want to do it all. I feel exhausted a lot. Most of the time I just don't wanna do anything. I love tv. More than I used to. Its so great sitting and doing nothing. I do not like the snow. Hate it in fact. Its probably the main reason I want to do nothing all the time. I brought this up to Chris and told him we should move to AZ or something. Then he told me... "Jade we have 2 snow dogs. Would that work?" No... these creatures love the snow. Maybe next year I will pick up snowboarding again. Then maybe I will love the snow again. Chris would probably pick up snowboarding again for me. Luckily I still have one friend who boards. Positive. Make my negative a positive. Snow is great because you can snowboard!
Well I think that is all I need and want to say. It is bed time. 9am church... cannot believe this is our new time for the next year. Oh ya I get to teach the sunbeams now. 4 boys. 1 listens. The rest cannot talk. :( Please let one thing I say tomorrow stick.

Koda
I just wanted to blab on about our new little guy. I love him so much. I love his personality. He is such a spaz. Kiara and him are night and day. Kiara was seriously the best little puppy and is so behaved and proper. Koda... is a boy. He loves shredding everything. He has already thrown up 2 socks and what we think was a mouse without a head or tail. He loves playing with everything and is constantly throwing his toys all over the house. Then he will bark and run and pounce on them. He is suuuuper vocal. He is constantly making noises. Most are annoying. He has a very high pitched bark that makes you want to strangle him. He whines constantly, over everything. He is seriously like a baby. He whines forever when he is tired and then will collapse and fall asleep. He also whines when he wants food, attention, is bored and I think when his teeth hurt. He always whines in the morning for attention. He will run and jump on the bed early in the morning and will walk all over us whining and licking to wake us up to play. I definitely could not do kids right now. Thanks Koda for reminding us of this everyday!
I have grown to love this little guy though. He was more distant to us at first. Kiara wouldn't let us out of her sight when we brought her home. He was so attached to Kiara when we brought him home though. He barely paid us any attention. Only within the last few weeks has he actually realized that we rock! And of course he has become super needy! He whines for attention constantly. If Kiara is getting attention he has to as well. He is so energetic; he is constantly playing and Kiara is tired all the time haha. She has been so good with him I cannot believe how patient she is. I don't know what we'd do with out her. She is seriously our little baby sitter. I love how crazy he is. I wish I had videos of him spazing out randomly with his toys. He just loves to play. We have been off leash training him in our little culdesac thing. He never wants to stray too far from us though or Kiara. Kiara we never could try that with, she was so curious and very stubborn! We haven't tried anything near the road but he has definitely been good at chris's parents area and ours!
Things I want to remember about puppy Koda:
-today when he ripped chris's name tag off his chest then ran outside and made chris run after him haha he was so mad. Chris grabbed his scruff and said no then he ran inside to me and sat in my lap before Chris came back in.
-how big his mouth gets when he is panting
-how he falls over when he is cleaning himself
-how he throws and pounces on all his toys and bones
-that one time he pounced on Kiara from two stairs up.. and knocked her down at 10 weeks
-how he cannot howl (sounds more like a long growl)
-how he constantly attacks Kiaras tail and legs
-what a wuss he is in new situations (he just stays in between out legs) compared to how tough he acts at home
-how cuddly he has gotten with us
-how he always cuddles up to Kiara
-how Kiara will clean his face
-how good he was on the trip down to cali
-the way he sleeps he is always sprawled out
-how dirty he always gets because he jumps and rolls in stuff constantly
-how his paws are almost the size of kiaras at 15 weeks
-how much worse he teethes and therefore wants to chew on everything he can find
-how much his markings have changed already
-I don't know if that dark spot will stay on his tail but I love it
-how he weighs 22 lbs at 15 weeks! 13 more lbs and he is caught up to Kiara already!
-how much this boy eats! We will cut it down in a couple months if he doesn't slow down but we go through triple the dog food we did before we got Kiara. She eats like a cup and a half a day if that. (Fact: huskies only need a cup and a half when they are full grown but 3-5 cups when they are puppies)
-how he loathes being held and will scream at you if you don't put him down
-how clumsy he is.. he runs into everything
-how he freaks out like my little penny when treats are brought out (I miss her.. I love that he acts the same way. Brain turns off and all he can think about is what you are holding.)
-how he randomly growls and runs around the house
-how he will randomly hump the air
Well that's my boy! Our nick names for him are: Koda bear, bubba, gremlin (his first bath he looked like a gremlin to me) bud and little bear. He is definitely more difficult than Kiara. Though I hear the 2nd "child" usually is. We love him and are so happy to have him in our family! I just love his markings he is so gorgeous! We get complimented on them every time we go out of the house! They are gorgeous dogs! I cannot believe we have them. I seriously don't know what I'd do without them they are so fun and def part of the family. They are good dogs. I cannot believe we will have these two when we have kids. I'm excited to see how they will act with a baby. Kiara was just so sweet when we brought Koda home. They have been very socialized with Chris's 4 year old brother Josh who LOVES them haha. Kiara sprints when she hears Josh rolling down the tile on his lightening McQueen buggy thing. She is very patient though :)

Thanksgiving
Well its coming up. Everyone is posting everything they are thankful for (no matter how stupid) on instagram and fb. Thank you world for telling us how thankful you are for something you are not thankful for the rest of the year. But there is one thing I want to remember forever and that reminds me of why I am so thankful for my Husband. It is so Chris and is the epitome of why I married him.
Background. Chris hates my shoes. I have a million of them and I wear 5 pairs. 3 more have been added to this list of the shoes I wear since it is now boot season! Anyway. When we got married and we were moving all my stuff this was the one thing he never understood. Why the heck do you have so many? I have never even seen you wear these. He'd make funny jokes (weren't really funny) about where to put all my shoes and I am never allowed to buy shoes again and how I could shoe all the orphans in South America and bla de bla. That was the first couple months we were married. I never made a big deal out of it because lets face it I have a million shoes that I do not wear (But could one day for such-and-such occasion lol.) He hasn't made any comments about my shoes forever. And guess what I didn't notice. Surprise Jade didn't notice something. I really do not pay attention to things. I'm glad Chris does or we would be doomed. A few weeks ago after Kiara had her chocolate eating incident where she went insane while we were gone. (See a previous post.) During which she ruined one of my favorite pairs of shoes. White flats with a cute bow. Probably from payless. I was balling that night and not even over the shoes. I thought Kiara would die, she ruined my surprise for Chris, I had a long day and now had to clean up our now covered in rainbow colored pipe cleaners, she ruined the library book Chris was reading and how do we fix that?! A million reasons. The shoes were a bummer but not that big of a deal.
Well yesterday I was feeling extra emotional and had had a long day at work and just wanted to hear my husband tell me how much he loved me. Chris was being sweet and telling me he loved me and how amazing he thinks I am. (Oh stooooop.) Then he said something that blew me away. He got a little teary eyed and said, "Do you remember that day Kiara chewed up your shoes and you were so upset she ruined my surprise? I felt so bad that she did that to you. I just wanted to hold you. The next day I spent a couple hours on the internet searching for those white shoes! I looked everywhere. There were tons of white shoes with bows but they were all dumb and had big bows and were not your style at all. None of them looked like your shoes at all. I couldn't find them anywhere. Why wouldn't they be on the Soda website? I tried so hard to find you those shoes and never could. I wish I had." I started balling. How cheesy is that? That small statement meant the world to me. He knew how much I liked those shoes even though my only statement about them that night was, "And she shredded my shoes!" He always puts me first. He hates shopping with a passion and spent so much time looking for girl shoes! He must really love me. It just made me so happy imagining him searching for dumb girl shoes online, just for me, his wifey.
Tillys was supposed to open up in Sandy the 2nd week of November. We drove by the shopping center one day and I freaked! I saw a Tillys sign and seriously freaked. Tillys has been my favorite store since I was little. One finally opened up in layton a year or 2 ago but I never went because it was so far. Now it is going to be 10 min away! There was no opening date or anything. The only reason I knew it was going to open around the 2nd week of November is because I called the Layton store and they told me it would be around that time. Tuesday we were out running errands and Chris said about 5x we should check to see if Tillys opened up. (Taking this man shopping is like twisting his ear off, at the dentist, surrounded by man-eating tigers.) I finally said okay. I really doubted it would be open already. GUESS WHAT?! It was! It had opened that day! I was soooo excited! Chris and I ran in and he let me ooooh and aaaah over all the clothes. He was so patient and didn't try to rush me whatsoever. We even got 20% off coupons for being one of the first 100 customers. Why would he even think about going to check if Tillys was open? Because my friends he loves me more than he hates shopping.
Big Thanks to my amazing husband! I love you! It has been the best and most trying 10 months of my life! And I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Thank you for:
Understanding me
Supporting me
Encouraging me to be myself
Not protesting when I go out with my friends or doing what I want
Telling me I need to just relax and we can clean the house later
Wanting me to be happy
Watching my stupid shows with me
Understanding my need for shoes and clothes I do not wear
Loving our dog as much as I do and loving animals as much as me
Always trying to make me laugh
Being patient when I am a butt head
Doing laundry and cleaning
Encouraging me to follow my dreams
Helping me with school
Loving me
Writing out lists of our expenses so I don't freak out about money
Doing everything I ask no matter how dumb
For building our dog house
For being a strong priesthood holder in our home
For tickling me to sleep when I am too tired to sleep
For rubbing my legs when they are restless
Being an example to the boys you teach and for fulfilling your calling honorably
Making me feel loved
Being able to trust you 100%
For understanding my past mistakes without hesitation, loving me more for overcoming them and knowing it made me who I am today
Trying to understand why I pay to get my hair colored every 6 weeks even though you don't see why I feel like my roots are 10 inches long
Studying so hard in school and providing a stable future for our family
Never giving up on me
Sending me texts that tell me you love me even though you hate texting
Playing games with me
Keeping me informed with world events
Trying
I could probably go on and on. But I love my husband. I love our dog. I love the gospel. I love our life.

Longest Post Ever and Major Photos
Well I have not posted in a while. There was snow on the ground yesterday, now it is mainly gone. Woo! My dog loves the snow. She learned she was a snow dog yesterday. Chris posted some adorable videos of her on facebook. We took her to the park today and let her run around the baseball field. She is so cute. That dog could run forever. She was constantly running back and forth in the outfield between Chris and I. So cute. I adore her. Kiara is now 6 months! We are excited to get her a boyfriend/brother. Haha. Chris calls him her brother but I say he will be her boyfriend. We will see which one sticks. We've been thinking about getting a second dog for a few months so she can have a buddy. She hates when we leave she gets so lonely. She does not hold back in telling us how upset she was that we left her when we get home. She just sits and howls at us angrily until we apologize and pet her. She is such a good dog too. She comes when she is called which is weird for a husky. She knows a million tricks and is a good inside dog now. No shredding! (minus the chocolate eating episode we experienced the other night. See below for story.) Yay for being a good husky puppy! (Although she loves digging in our backyard. Naughty.) Chris wanted to get another girl dog. But, Kiara is so dominate I think another girl would be a bad idea. She wont need to compete if we have a male. Plus Kiara is a Daddys girl. She adores Chris. I think male dogs love female owners more and female dogs love male owners more. Just a hypothesis. But we've been praying about it and giving it all a lot of thought. We know the pros and cons. Most people think we are crazy, but I think we can handle it. We have the space for them now. We will be able to find a place that will take 2 dogs once we move. True it will be harder but doable. Chris is going med school in a year or two. We will be poor with 2 dogs and possibly a kid on the way by then :) but I can do two dogs. We have also talked to a bunch of husky owners and most say that 2 huskies is better than 1. They keep each other occupied and wear each other out. We will make sure to pick out a puppy that has a good temperament and comes from good breeders. I want a red husky with a certain mask. We almost got Kiaras brother instead of her because he was so gorgeous. He was red with the exact type of mask I love. But we fell in love with Kiara more. I am so glad we chose her.
Its crazy thinking Kiara is going to grow up with our babies! EVERYONE is pregnant or having babies right now it is so weird. Sometimes I fantasize about having kids but we definitely wont try for another few years. Gotta get my RN and then BSN first!
Well I started working for a Plastic Surgeon! Dr. June S. Chen! She is pretty amazing. If you know anyone who needs reconstruction after breast cancer she is your Doctor! She is one of 3 Doctors in Utah who takes fat from your stomach or back or butt and creates a breast that looks real! It is incredible. I love working there. It is not just implants and tummy tucks. (Which are pretty cool too.) She helps women feel like women again after going through such traumatic life changes. Chemo and Radiation are such horrible things to go through... It hurts not being able to help them more. We got a cake on Tuesday from one of our reconstruction patients. It was so cute I will post a picture below. It tasted incredible too! In January I am going to be able to go to the OR with her. I can't even imagine what that will be like. Some of her surgery's take 12 hours! I really lucked out with this job though. I am not a care center nurse. I was working 3 jobs for a month and almost died from exhaustion. I quit one job last week though! I could not be happier. That job was beyond stressful. I work my other care/rehab center job once a week. 12 hour shift. I'm so much happier now! I want to keep that job because it is such a different type of nursing. I am constantly learning drugs and different wound dressings among other things. Now that my schedule has slowed down I am going to kick it into school mode.
Chris has been crazy busy with school. This week has sucked. I have not been able to see him much. He is a crazy studier. I am so impressed with his dedication. He had a huge anatomy test Thursday and a paper due today. Monday he has another anatomy test, a physics test, and an anatomy model due. I'm so proud of him. I just wish I got to see him more this week. His sister Meli tells her hubby who is in med school all the time that he loves school more than her. I started that this week and got a few chuckles out of Chris then it was back to studying haha.
Sooo we had a chocolate eating episode with Kiara 56 hours ago. 4 hours after ingestion is a critical time for a puppy. After 72 hours they are in the clear. She ate almost all the bite sized brownies sitting on the table, still sealed in the packaging. I freaked and started crying when I came home. She has never once been interested in what is on our table. We didn't even know she could get up there. She has also never had any human food minus meat, so this was a completely different experience for her belly! Needless to say that night was the worst. She was running around the house all night, she had extreme amounts of energy. She was panting like crazy all night. Both signs of high chocolate toxicity in dogs. Our only shredding incident happened that night. Must've been the chocolate....After I found the brownie casing on the floor and checked her out, I looked out in our backyard and she had shredded Chris's library book! It was in a million pieces. Pretty amazing she could even do that. She also had grabbed the new tape, pencil sharpener and 100 piece bag of pipe cleaners and destroyed all of it and left it scattered throughout the yard. I got those little gadgets for Chris and his project for anatomy. On a side note: he needed a black and a red pipe cleaner. Walmart did not have red pipe cleaners so I was left to purchase the rainbow colored 100 piece bag. Yay for dumb pipe cleaners. I scolded her in my best mean deep voice and she army crawled toward me and rolled over. When I started cleaning up her mess she bolted around the yard and even used the fence as a spring board. She was insane. We then secluded her to her kennel for 30 minutes. She was very repentant after that. Chris wouldn't even let me pet her for a while after. She was one sad pup. Hopefully that never happens again. Her poor belly was the worst the next day. Diarrhea all over the yard. :( Naughty dog.
What else? We saw Hotel Transylvania on Saturday. It was amazing!!! So funny. Chris and I loved it. We need to buy it. We also went out to our fav restaurant, Texas Roadhouse! We went there on our first date and right after he proposed. Its our place. Today we went to Sweet Tomatoes. Wow amazing place! Why have we never been before? Amazing salads, soups and pasta there! Chris and I go to the dog park with Kiara a couple times a week to really wear her out. This dog could run for days. Luckily shes lazy at home or we'd be in trouble. She starts getting bored though without the dog park and then loves getting into trouble. Walks don't do it for her and we hate running! In the spring we are going to get bike attachments for the dogs.
Our cars need lots of work. My shocks suck and my a/c needs to be fixed due to it not switching from my face to defrost. Or face to anywhere else! Plus after my oil change they told me I have some leaks and other stuff. Yay for cars. Chris's car... his engine light is on which freaks me out, something with his alignment is off, rotars or something? Idk I just know it is going to be expensive. So that will be fun.
Oh! And T Swifts new CD came out and is bomb! I loooove it! I'm so obsessed with her right now its insane. Her songs rock! I can officially enjoy her song 22 for 1 more month. Even though she talks about single life... I wasn't single at all when I was 22 but oh well. I was engaged baby!
Well that is about it! Here are about a million pics that have needed to be posted. All out of order. All about our summer and our new little bundle of joy. I hate uploading pics on here and moving them around it was the worst. If there is an easier way someone please let me know!
